Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Voiczy website, mobile application, or any related services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

Service Description

Voiczy is a language learning platform designed for children aged 2-6, offering personalized language-learning paths through immersive audio, visual content, and interactive games. The service is offered on a subscription basis with various pricing plans.

Parental Responsibility and Screen Time

Voiczy provides engaging and educational content designed for young children. However, parents are responsible for overseeing their child's screen time usage. While we include time-limiting features within the app to prevent excessive use and addiction, Voiczy cannot be held liable for any misuse or overuse of the app beyond these controls. We encourage parents to actively manage their child’s app usage to ensure a healthy balance between learning and screen time.

Machine Translation and AI-Generated Voices

Voiczy uses machine translation and AI-generated voices for text-to-speech functionality. We use the top available services to ensure high-quality translations and voices. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or perfection of these services. Mistakes made by these external services cannot hold Voiczy liable for any errors or misinterpretations in the content.

Payment and Billing

Voiczy offers subscription services billed on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to allow Stripe to process your payment information and charge the applicable fees according to your selected plan.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Voiczy account. Upon cancellation, your access will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for partial billing cycles.

Limitation of Liability

Voiczy is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. We provide our service "as is" without any warranties of any kind. This includes any errors or issues arising from machine translation or AI-generated voices.

Changes to Terms

Voiczy reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the service after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Free Trial, Cancellation, and Refunds

Voiczy offers a free trial period for new users. Upon expiration of the free trial, your account will automatically transition to a paid subscription unless cancelled prior to the trial end date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Voiczy account settings. Upon cancellation, your access will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. It is the user's responsibility to cancel the subscription before the next billing cycle if they do not wish to continue using the service.

As a general policy, Voiczy does not provide refunds for automatic renewals or charges that occur after the free trial period has ended. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge your responsibility to manage your subscription and to cancel before the next billing cycle if you do not wish to be charged.

Voiczy reserves the right to process refunds at its sole discretion in exceptional circumstances. However, users should not rely on the possibility of a discretionary refund and should instead proactively manage their subscription. Refund requests made after the transition from free trial to paid subscription may be declined, as ample opportunity is provided during the free trial to evaluate the service and cancel if unsatisfied.

Please note that processing refunds incurs operational costs for Voiczy. To keep our services affordable and maintain the quality of our offerings, we encourage users to make informed decisions about continuing their subscription at the end of the free trial period.
